Will grid dispatch affect my data centre uptime or building operations?
No. AmpVerve dispatches within pre-agreed power envelopes that always maintain your full backup capacity and operational requirements. Your uptime SLAs, whether Tier III, Tier IV or any other standard, are hard constraints in the dispatch model. They cannot be overridden. Your operations team retains one-click override control at all times. If a dispatch event would breach any operational constraint, it simply does not happen.
How does AmpVerve connect to my existing infrastructure?
AmpVerve integrates via standard industrial protocols: Modbus TCP for generators and BESS, BACnet for BMS systems, SNMP for UPS controllers, OCPP for EV chargers and OpenADR for demand response. We connect to your existing control systems without replacing them or requiring new hardware. Integration typically completes within two weeks.
What revenue share does AmpVerve take?
AmpVerve takes 10-15% of the revenue generated. You keep 85-90%. Revenue share applies once the programme moves to ongoing service. Commercial terms agreed up front. If we earn nothing, you pay nothing.
How quickly can I start earning?
Integration typically takes two weeks. Market registration takes an additional two to four weeks depending on the specific markets and your Great Britain DNO territory. Can my backup generators really participate in grid markets?
In Great Britain, backup generators are eligible for the Capacity Market and the Balancing Mechanism, and these markets specifically value assets that can provide power on demand. AmpVerve cannot open either route for you today: Great Britain Capacity Market registration is not held, and the Elexon Balancing Mechanism interfaces are built but pending accreditation. What AmpVerve can dispatch your generators into today, in Great Britain, is DNO local flexibility and the NESO Demand Flexibility Service, handling all market interactions within your approved parameters.

Backup power, cooling inertia and on-site storage are the same assets in every country. The mechanism that pays for them is not.
Great Britain
AmpVerve is a registered flexibility provider with SSEN and UK Power Networks, so a building in their territory can enter DNO local flexibility tenders without standing up a market entity, and since 9 April 2026 NESO's Demand Flexibility Service procures zonally with reduced eligibility thresholds. Every asset carries a settlement grade half hourly series, the unit that half hourly settlement will actually settle on, while the Capacity Market and Balancing Mechanism stay modelled until qualification completes.
Europe
In the Netherlands 14,044 connection requests worth 9 GW are queued and new high voltage infrastructure takes 8 to 12 years, so the practical route to capacity for a new building or data hall is a flexible connection whose limit the site must respect and prove; AmpVerve holds that limit as a setpoint on the BMS, UPS or chargers and evidences it per asset, per half hour. Ireland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway are carried as first-class markets in its configuration, and in Europe it integrates behind your licence, not instead of it.
Australia
The constraint is timing: 18.9 per cent of NEM dispatch intervals cleared at or below zero in Q3 2025, and AEMO is explicit that the evening maximum will not move unless solar is coupled with storage. A building's UPS, BESS and cooling inertia are that storage; AmpVerve schedules them through IEEE 2030.5 with CSIP-AUS and AS/NZS 4777.2, behind your retailer's market entity, holding no AEMO or AER registration.
Middle East
Across the Gulf there is no wholesale flexibility market, capacity market or time varying tariff, so the mechanism is a contracted demand response programme and cooling load is the asset that matters. Abu Dhabi's Demand Response Policy, effective 1 January 2024, targets 200 MW of contracted capacity by 2030 with 80 MW by 2027, and its 2024 Phase 1 delivered an average 106 MW peak reduction across ten events from twelve large commercial and industrial facilities; AmpVerve holds no licence in the region and would operate behind a licensed provider.
United States
NERC's ten year summer peak growth forecast has climbed to 224 GW, driven by data centres and other large loads, while only 13 per cent of capacity that requested interconnection between 2000 and 2020 has reached commercial operation. A building's backup and cooling assets earn through utility and virtual power plant programmes today, with wholesale aggregation under FERC Order 2222 still being implemented and PJM's landing in 2028; AmpVerve supplies per asset, per interval evidence, including what happened when a utility overrode dispatch, behind your registration, holding no US market registration.
